Ho Chi Minh City (affectionately still called Saigon by locals) is primarily the gateway to the Mekong Delta and nearby Cu Chi Tunnels — both of which we highly recommend — but there are also lots of fantastic things to explore within the city limits. From the heartbreaking War Remnants Museum to luxe shopping strips, gourmet restaurants to delectable street stalls, HCMC is a taste of all Vietnam has to offer.
Upon arrival, welcomed by our driver (no guide) and transfer to the down town, check in your hotel (normal check in time is 14:00). In the afternoon, it’s will be unscheduled time, you can freely exploring Ho Chi Minh City. Despite its historic and cultural significance, Ho Chi Minh City is also one of the most dynamic spots in Vietnam, and you can see this through the cutting edge buildings and the exciting nightlife on offer here.
Activities recommendation: Grab a coffee in Tao Dan Park; give a try on some local food in Ho Thi Ky night market. You also can spend your time to grab some beer and enjoy a bustling atmosphere at Bui Vien Streetwhich the location that similar to Ta Hien Street in Hanoi or shopping at Ben Thanh market or Saigon Square.
You can also visit SAIGON SKY DECK an observation deck located on the 49th floor of the Bitexco Financial Tower in Ho Chl Minh City. It is the highest observation deck in the city, offering 360-degree views of the surrounding skyline. The deck features a glass-paneled viewing platform and a multimedia exhibit showcasing the history and culture of Ho Chi Minh. The deck is equipped with telescopes and interactive displays that provide information about the city’s landmarks and history. It provides a unique and memorable experience for, tourists, offering a glimpse into the bustling city from a high-altitude perspective.

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for full day city tour of Ho Chi Minh
Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification Palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom Palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant.
Depart for Cu Chi Tunnel; the trip will take approximately one and a half hour bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.
Return to Saigon for an Overnight stay
Breakfast at hotel; a trip to Mekong Delta to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and the rich culture of the vibrant southern Delta region. Boating down the river to experience the local life, fishing port, fishing floating house, enjoy the local folk song music and seasonal fresh fruit.
Our driver picks up and departs from Ho Chi Minh for My Tho City by air-conditioned car. Enjoy the peaceful villages on the way and get far away from city life. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Then move to My Tho boat station.
Pick up at My Tho Tourist Boat-station; take a boat trip on Mekong River that covers areas of My Tho fish-farm and 4 islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix
Transfer to Rach Xếp (Ben Tre), visit the factory of crafts and the showrooms of coconut products
Get on a horse cart along the nicest rural village of the area on the way to visit honey bee farm where guest can enjoy the taste of honey tea.
Rowing on sampans along the canals of Mekong River covered with shady water coconut trees.
Continue to Rach Tan Thach, take a motor – boat go along small canal to discover the beauty of Ben Tre , which homeland of coconut and visit “Hồng Vân” – coconut candy factory, one of the famous specialty of Ben Tre.
Returning back to coach and going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Drop off at hotel and relax.
