Join our 8 Nights / 9 Days “Wildlife in Rajasthan” tour, blending nature and heritage. Start in Delhi, then explore bird-life at Bharatpur and tigers at Sariska. Discover the royal charm of Jaipur before ending with thrilling safaris in Ranthambhore National Park.
On arrival at Delhi airport/railway station, you will be received and transferred to Bharatpur. Also known as the ‘Eastern Gateway to Rajasthan’, this city serves as the heavenly abode of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE – KEOLADEO NATIONAL PARK or the BHARATPUR BIRD SANCTUARY.
On arrival at Bharatpur, check in at the resort/hotel. After lunch, we will take you to the bird sanctuary. After a quick glimpse of the sanctuary and its exotic range of dwellers, you will be driven back to the hotel for your overnight stay.
Today, following your breakfast, you have an exciting day-out in and around the bird sanctuary. The day will comprise of exciting bird watching sessions in the company of nature experts.
Within the day, you will also be taken for an exciting BOAT RIDE (on direct payment basis) around the sanctuary. Enjoy close encounters with the inhabitants of Keoladeo National Park. Fun-frolic of the day will be taken one step further with an amusing RICKSHAW RIDE (on direct payment basis) within the bird sanctuary.
Later you can proceed to see wonderful LOHAGARH FORT, BHARATPUR PALACE AND MUSEUM and BANKEY BIHARI TEMPLE.
Completing all these gripping activities, you will be guided back to the resort/hotel for your overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, you will check out from the hotel in Bharatpur and drive to SARISKA TIGER RESERVE.
Nestled in the Aravali Hills, Sariska Tiger Reserve is covered with grasslands, dry deciduous forests, cliffs, and rocky landscapes. The vast area was once the hunting preserve of the Maharaja of Alwar. The reserve is well known for its majestic Royal Bengal Tigers and was declared a National Park in 1982. It covers a large area of 800 square kilometers, 480 square kilometers of which form the core area of the national park. After reaching at Sariska, you will be checked into a pre-booked wildlife resort or hotel.
After lunch, drive to the dense jungle of Sariska with naturalist by open top roof CANTER or JEEP (subject to availability/on direct payment basis) for tiger tracking and explore wildlife. The jungle visits lasts for about three hours and return to the resort.
Later visit PANDUPOL HANUMAN TEMPLE situated in middle of Sariska Tiger Reserve. It is believed that Pandawas spent a part of their Agyatwas (exile) at this location. Here you found Lord Hanuman in laying position. There is time to relax and enjoy the recreation activities offered by wildlife resort.
We will get ready for early morning JUNGLE SAFARI (on direct payment basis) at Sariska Tiger Reserve. After jungle safari, we will return back to the resort for breakfast and lunch.
Today you have an OPTION of visiting SILISERH LAKE OR BHANGARH FORT
OPTION 1: SILISERH LAKE (40 KM/1 HOUR): The Lake is a popular spot for bird watching and is home to a wide variety of migratory and resident birds. You can spot species like the grey heron, white-throated kingfisher, and black-winged stilt along with crocodiles. You can also enjoy MOTOR BOATING (on direct payment basis)
OPTION 2: BHANGARH FORT (28 KM/34 MIN): Travel to the Bhangarh Fort, located about 28 km from Sariska. The fort is known for its spooky legends and is believed to be one of the most haunted places in India. The fort offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and is a great place to learn about the local history and culture.
Come back to the resort and relax for rest of the day.
After a fulfilling breakfast, proceed to Jaipur. On arrival check in at the hotel and spend some time relaxing and prepare for an exciting evening on this day of your Jaipur tour. Jaipur was the first planned city of its time, with imposing forts, dazzling palaces, and lush gardens. Today, Jaipur is the gateway to Rajasthan and still remains one of India’s most important heritage sites, full of historic charm.
Later in the evening, enjoy SOUND & LIGHT SHOW AT AMBER FORT. The show highlights the local legends, folklore, and celebrates the maestros of folk music, who, to this day, continue to give Rajasthan its unique identity. The show has been set in a spectacular location, with a brilliant view of Amber Fort & Palace Complex in the front, the rising Jaigarh on the left and magnificent hills behind it. After enjoying the Amer Fort Light and Sound Show, you can enjoy the lip smacking Dinner (OPTIONAL) with eagle view of the pink city in a palace converted into a restaurant at Nahargarh Fort
Later you will be driven back to your hotel. On the way, experience the pick city at night; Jaipur is even more beautiful at night. Drive past through the nightspots like JAL MAHAL, ALBERT HALL, JOHARI BAZAAR, M.I ROAD, BIRLA TEMPLE, STATUE CIRCLE, AMAR JAWAN JYOTI and VIDHAN SABHA BHAWAN. Overnight stay at your Hotel
Today very early morning, embark on the exciting JHALANA LEOPARD SAFARI & enjoy sighting these elusive cats in their natural habitats. Spot various other animals apart from the leopards as well and capture the fauna in your cameras. Spread across an area of 23 sq km, the Jhalana Safari park is the first leopard reserve in India. After the safari, return back to the hotel for breakfast
After a fulfilling breakfast, proceed for the Jaipur city tour. You can explore the below mentioned landmarks of the city as per your choice and time constrain:
Drive to the ancient capital of Amer (11 km) from Jaipur. If you wish, you can enjoy an ELEPHANT RIDE (on direct Payment Basis) to the AMBER FORT which is one of the UNESCO LISTED HILL FORTS of Rajasthan. Amer was the ancient capital of the Kachhawaha dynasty for more than half a millennium. Later visit JAIGARH FORT “Having the largest Cannon in India”, NAHARGARH FORT. We then proceed to CITY PALACE, a perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Next, we visit JANTAR MANTAR (UNESCO World Heritage site), an observatory built in the 18th century. Its solar devices can measure the day’s progression with an error of just 2 seconds, making it an astronomical treasure that can still accurately make predictions today. Next, you’ll visit HAWA MAHAL (“Palace of the Winds”), a five-storied facade made of pink sandstone. Built in 1799, Hawa Mahal and its discreet windows (jharokhas) allowed royal ladies to watch street processions and festivities.
Visit GATORE KI CHHATRIYAN, also known as Gaitor Tombs are located in the walled city area named Brahmpuri at the foothills of Nahargarh Fort. Built in the memory of the rulers of Jaipur, the beautiful carvings are worth seeing. They are the royal cenotaphs that display the Rajput style of architecture. Visit GALTA JI TEMPLE, a prehistoric Hindu pilgrimage site on the outskirts of Jaipur. Outlined by the striking Aravalli hills, it consists of several SHRINES, HOLY KUNDS, PAVILIONS and NATURAL SPRINGS. Later visit SISODIA RANI GARDEN; this lush green royal garden is replete with flowerbeds, foliage, beautiful water fountains, pavilions, galleries, iridescent water channels and murals.
Also visit ALBERT HALL MUSEUM. Situated in the Ram Niwas Garden of Jaipur, the Albert Hall Museum is the oldest museum in Rajasthan. The museum’s stunning architecture and extensive collection of artifacts offer an immersive experience into Rajasthan’s rich heritage.
In the evening, enjoy shopping at BAPU BAZAR, JOHARI BAZAAR, and M.I ROAD. Later you will visit the special ethnic village “CHOWKI DHANI”. Enjoy the cultural program, delicious cuisines and traditional folk dance. Post dinner, return to the hotel for a night’s stay.
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Ranthambore National Park. There, you will be checked into a pre-booked wildlife resort or hotel.
Once a private game reserve of the royal House of Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve is one of the world’s best known wilderness areas. Located 14 kilometres from Sawai Madhopur and at the junction of some of the geologically oldest mountain ranges – the Aravallis and Vindyas – Ranthambore offers some of the finest opportunities for sighting the magnificent tiger in the wild. A mix of rolling hills and crags, and meadows, lakes and rivulets, this dry-deciduous forest system is home to an incredible variety of flora and fauna. Apart from the tiger, you can also spot sloth bear, leopard, caracal, jackal, fox, hyena and mongoose at Ranthambore.
After lunch, get ready to explore Ranthambore National Park by JEEP/CANTER (on direct payment basis). After jungle safari with a naturalist, you will be taken back to the resort for dinner and stay.
Before breakfast, you will be pick up from your resort and taken on an early morning JEEP SAFARI (on direct payment basis) to the park. Early morning is the right time to spot many birds and interesting collection of mammals. You will be travelling with an experienced naturalist, who will guide you throughout the tour. On an open jeep, you will cover deeper regions of Ranthambore National Park to explore wildlife and track tigers. The morning safari stretches for three hours. Apart from the majestic tigers, the park is also famous for spotting animals like Hyena, Dhole, Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Sloth Bear, Leopard, Wild Boar, and other. After safari, you will be taken back to the resort for breakfast and a brief rest. Enjoy recreational activities at resort.
After lunch visit to RANTHAMBORE FORT. It is one of the six forts included in the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site inscription Hill Forts of Rajasthan. This tenth century fort with its battlements stretching out over the Aravalli Hills provides excellent views of the National Park and its lakes, visit the Ganesh Temple there, which is used by hundreds of worshippers daily. It will take approx 2-3 hours to complete, return at you hotel at dusk time. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning after the farewell breakfast, complete the hotel checkout formalities, and transfer to Sawai Madhopur railway station/Jaipur airport for your onward Journey.
