Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit the Maldives is from December to April. It is the dry season in Maldives and the peak tourist season. The average temperature during this time ranges between 24 and 31 degrees Celcius. The 26 atolls of Maldives experiences very little rainfall, bright blue skies, low humidity and calm seas in this period. December to April is also the ideal time for sunbathing, scuba diving and snorkelling as the reef life during this time is vibrant and the underwater visibility is excellent. Pack a lot of swimwear, beach clothes, and a large suncream tube.

Diving is one of the most popular things to do in Maldives. Some dive sites in Maldives are Fish Head, HP Reef, Banana Reef and Maanta Point.
