Vaishno Devi is a revered pilgrimage site located in the Trikuta Mountains of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of the most visited and sacred shrines in India, attracting millions of devotees every year. Morning arrival at Jammu Railway Station/Airport and pick up and transfer to Katra; reach Katra and check-in at Hotel. Katra is situated in the foothills of TRIKUTA MOUNTAINS and is base to visit Holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. Overnight stay at hotel
Today early morning starts HOLY VAISHNO DEVI YATRA (Approximately 13 km Trek). One can trek up to the Shrine if fitness permits; otherwise hire a pony (to save the time) on direct payment basis. The journey by foot takes approx 5 to 6 Hrs and by Pony it will take approx 2 to 3 Hrs.
On the way in middle take a halt at ARDHKUWARI CAVE. Get waiting parchi of Ardhkuwari Darshan from the counter (ask the counter person about waiting period).
If there is too much waiting period, then move further towards VAISHNO DEVI BHAWAN. Have Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi and proceed towards HOLY BHAIRAVNATH JI TEMPLE. Then head towards Ardhkuwari cave. Have Darshan of holy Ardhkuwari Cave shrine. Return to Katra late night for stay.
After early breakfast drive to Patnitop. The original name of Patnitop is Patan Da Talab which meaning Pond of the Princess. Arrive Patnitop and proceed for local sightseeing tour in Patnitop covering NAG TEMPLE, NATHATOP AND SANASAR. Evening return back to hotel and overnight stay at hotel in Patnitop
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive back to Jammu en route visiting RANBIRESHWAR TEMPLE, BAHU FORT/GARDENS, MAHAMAYA TEMPLE, GAURI KUND, MANSAR LAKE and a famous RAGHUNATH TEMPLE and after sightseeing tour of Jammu transfer to Jammu Railway station/Airport for journey back to home or onward.
