Upon arrival at Khajjiar visit KHAJJI LAKE – Khajjiar is also known as mini Switzer Land of India. It is the most exotic and scenic beauty place around 24 Km from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is officially proclaimed the mini – Switzerland of India. At an altitude of 6450 ft, this saucer shaped green meadow, ringed by Devadar Trees has a lake in the middle complete with floating island.

FULL DAY EXCURSION TO CHAMERA DAM AND CHAMBA Town (2 HOURS DRIVE)
After morning breakfast proceed for whole day sightseeing tour of CHAMBA
CHAMBA – Chamba is an ancient town in the Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Chamba District. Chamba town in its temples and palaces preserves much of its rich medieval past.
En route you will visit to CHAMERA DAM – The Chamera Dam impounds the River Ravi and supports the hydroelectricity project in the region. You may enjoy boat ride in this lake.
Later drive to Chamba. Upon arrival at Chamba, visit to CHAMUNDA MATA TEMPLE, LAKSHMI NARAYAN TEMPLE, BHURI SINGH MUSEUM and CHOWGAN. Subject to time constrain
Return and Overnight stay at Dalhousie
Today we proceed to DHARAMSHALA – a hillside city surrounded by cedar forests located on the edge of the Himalayas known as the home of Dalai Lama.
EN ROUTE WE VISIT KANGRA FORT – One of the largest and the oldest forts in the Himalayas built atop a hill with a sweeping view of the Kangra valley., Kangra Fort built by Katoch rulers dates back thousands of years
We then visit CHINMAYA TAPOVAN – an ashram at the foot of the Dhauladhar ranges in the Kangra Valley. Here we visit the meditation hall. A small walk to reach the Ashram through the dense pine forest offers a panoramic view. Upon arrival at Dharamshala free time to relax and explore the surroundings
FULL DAY DHARMSHALA MCLEOD GANJ LOCAL
Today we explore Dharamshala. We take a photo stop at the DHARAMSHALA CRICKET STADIUM. We then experience a ropeway ride known as Dharamshala Skyway offering stunning Ariel views of the scenic town. Visit the tea gardens for freshness.
Later explore the famous MCLEOD GANJ – a beautiful town nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery has a prominent Tibetan influence. Spend some time exploring McLeod Ganj. You can go shopping at the TIBETIAN BAZAR. Later take a photo stop at DALAI LAMA MONASTERY (subject to operation) – serene Temple complex known for its ornamental façade and vibrant prayer halls and we visit ST. JOHN IN THE WILDERNESS– a Victorian era church built in the 18th century and BHAGSU NAAG TEMPLE – believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself. See BHAGSU WATER FALL. Witness the beautiful Sun Set Point at NADDI VILLAGE and DAL LAKE (Buddhist Holy Lake). In the evening return to hotel and overnight stay at Dharamshala
After early breakfast check out the hotel and proceed to Amritsar.
Upon arrival you may Visit to ATTARI WAGAH BORDER (subject to operation) – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flags ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959.
You may also opt to enjoy the Sound & Light Show at GOBINDGARH FORT subject to operation (tickets on direct Payment Basis). Gobindgarh Fort is a historic military fort located in the centre of the city of Amritsar.

After breakfast pay tribute to JALLIANWALA BAGH – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919 and Partition Museum – world’s first Museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. We then visit GOLDEN TEMPLE – also known as HARMANDIR SAHIB OR DARBAR SAHIB is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism, here we also see AKAL TAKHT – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa.
In the evening transfer to Airport / Railway station for your onward destination
