Also visit SHANIWAR WADA, once the seat of the Peshwa governance in Pune is a 286-year-old mansion and is one of the finest examples of architecture in the city. This palace is spread over an area of about 625 acres. The architecture of Shaniwar Wada is a classic example of Maratha style of construction mixed with authentic Mughal architecture.
Back to the hotel and overnight stay at Pune
After Breakfast departure to Kolhapur; enroute visit NARAYANPUR PRATI BALAJI TEMPLE. Upon arrival check into hotel and get freshen up. Later visit SRI MAHALAKSHMI TEMPLE built in the 7th century by Chalukya rulers and is one of the six abodes of ‘Shakti’ (Goddess of Power) from where one can attain fulfillment and salvation of desires. Mahalakshmi is also known as Goddess Ambabai and is a revered Goddess among Hindus.
Later visit BHAVANI MANDAP, SHAHU MAHARAJ PALACE MUSEUM and evening free to stroll around RANKALA LAKE and enjoy shopping on Mahadwar Road. If time permits you can also enjoy MARDANI KHEL performance – an ancient Indian martial art form, which traces its history to Maratha warriors, includes 14 ways to wield a sword, sticks and other weapons. Early morning after breakfast proceed to MALVAN, a small coastal town situated in the Sindhudurg district which offers beautiful views of the Arabian Sea. TARKARLI BEACH is declared the Queen Beach of the Konkan Region. Thousands of tourists visit the beach to experience the thrill of water sport activities.
On arrival visit SINDHUDURG FORT, GOLDEN GANESH TEMPLE.
THE FORT SINDHUDURG is on an island off the coast of Malvan town in the Sindhudurg district. This fort is a protected monument by the Central Government of India. Built by none other than Chhatrapati Shivaji, this Fort is a tangible example of the Maratha foresight and resourcefulness.
GOLDEN GANESH TEMPLE is built by Shri Jayantrao Salgaonkar, an astrologer of repute and creator of very popular almanac ‘Kalnirnay’; in Medha locality of Malvan on ancestral family land of Salgaonkars.
In evening visit the most scenic DHAMAPUR LAKE, one of the biggest lakes in Sindhudurg district and one of four Indian historical structures selected from India to receive the World Heritage Irrigation Structure (WHIS) award for 2020.

Early morning, proceed for DOLPHIN CRUISE (direct payment) and enjoy scuba diving, water sports (direct payment) at TSUNAMI ISLAND at DEVBAGH. In evening, visit ROCK GARDEN. Overnight in Malvan/ Tarkarli
After breakfast; proceed to Ganpatipule via Ratnagiri; enroute visit KUNAKESHWAR MANDIR, SWAMI SWAROOPANAND ASHRAM AT PAWAS. You can also visit the RATNADURG FORT which is located at a distance of 3 km from the MARINE FISH MUSEUM. Shivaji Maharaj won this fort from the hands of Adil Shah. Enclosed by the Arabian Sea on 3 sides, the historical fort of Ratnadurg is spread over an area of 120 acres.
Then visit The TILAK ALI MUSEUM, one of the most sought-after attractions in Ratnagiri. The ancestral home of the famous freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak, the Museum is a testimony to the local Konkani architecture. The museum portrays the lifestyle and life story of
Tilak through numerous paintings and illustrations. A visit to this place will provide a curious explorer with many facets to our iconic fight for freedom that was pioneered by Tilak amongst other noteworthy stalwarts.
*You have an option of visiting MANGO ORCHARDS in Ratnagiri, especially famous for mangoes. More than 65,000 acres of land is under mango cultivation, and the biggest production of Alphonso mangoes in India is in Ratnagiri.
