Best Time to Visit

September to November is easily preferred time to travel through Spain. There are fewer crowds; the weather is beautiful but starting to cool down, and its wine harvest time! Head up to Rioja and Ribera for some of the best wine tastings in Spain.

The summer months, June to August, are the most popular time to visit Spain. The weather is warm and sunny, and you can enjoy long travel days on the country’s 5,000 miles of coastline. However, the cheapest accommodation prices can usually be found around January through April.

Cuisine

Spanish cuisine is popular worldwide for its generous use of meat and fish along with a lot of vegetables and cooked in a few spices. For breakfast, people generally prefer having coffee, Galleta and Magdalena. The best places to try Spanish food are the tapas or bars. Spain can also be considered as a shopper’s paradise. Apart from the popular international brands, there are some Spanish designer brands like Custo Barcelona and Kowalski, whose products are difficult to find outside Spain. The ‘Golden Mile’ is Madrid is home to the best shops in the city.
