Tour Highlights

Travel to a land of utterly astonishing natural beauty, cultural complexities, and several dynamic hill-tribe villages as well as megalopolises. Vietnam is just as exotic as it is compelling!

The country is so beautiful that you will be left in silent amazement! There are, however, three places that you must include in your Vietnam tour package, these places being Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City or more commonly known as HCMC.

Itinerary

Day 1HANOI – ARRIVAL – CITY TOUR

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, (distance is about 35km far from Hanoi city center and it’s approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour for transfer) transferred to your hotel in Hanoi Capital, crowded with bicycles, motorbikes, and surrounded by numerous shopping areas and sidewalk cafés.

Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia.

Enjoy the traditional Water Puppet Show, (OPTIONAL) a unique northern Vietnamese art form especially designed for depicting scenes from rural life and episodes of national history.

Day 2HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – MUA CAVE IN NINH BINH - HANOI (B)

Breakfast at the hotel; early morning: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to Ninh Binh – heading south of Hanoi for 110 km. After 2 hours, you will arrive in Ninh Binh. First stop at Hoa Lu, you will have a quick visit to two temples built in honor of the emperor Dinh Le, their sons, and the Queen… to know why Hoa Lu was built as the capital of Vietnam in ending of nine centuries.

Then continue to visit, Bich Dong pagoda, an ancient three tiered cave pagoda only accessible by steep stone steps, but it is really worth climbing up for a charming pagoda and stupendous view from the top.

In the afternoon, board a small sampan cruise to visit Tam Coc which literally means “three caves” (1.5-hour boat trip). With Halong bay-type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscapes like peaceful streams, rice paddies, and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery. After that transfer to Mua Cave and start an amazing trek up to the top of Ngoa Long Mountain to watch the spectacular rice valley with a specious view of nature.

Overnight in Hanoi

Day 3HA NOI - HALONG BAY DAY CRUISE - HANOI (B)

Breakfast at hotel, 08:00 Meet our tour guide and car at hotel lobby then take a 3.5-hour drive through fertile rice fields to Halong Bay. Have a break en-route in Hai Duong City to free your legs.

Board our Cruise and start cruising among limestone islands and photograph of stunning landscapes of Halong.

Passing by beautiful Stone Dog, Incense Burner Islet

Stop at a fishing village to see local fish-men community and know more about their life. Cruising further to take photos of Halong Bay symbol, a “Fighting cock” rock

Visit Thien Cung “Heavenly Palace” cave, the most beautiful in Halong Bay. Get back and cruise more around emerald water.

Stop at the harbor again to catch the car to Hanoi. Arrive back in Hanoi; Overnight in Hanoi

Day 4HANOI – FLIGHT TO DA NANG (B)

Enjoy breakfast and transfer directly to Hanoi airport for flight departure to Danang.

Upon arrival, a local guide and driver will pick you up from the airport to the hotel for check-in. On the way, pass by Dragon Bridge – a symbol of Da Nang beach city. Overnight in Da Nang

Day 5DA NANG - BA NA HILLS – GOLDEN BRIDGE – DA NANG (B)

Morning after breakfast, departure to Ba Na Hills. Arrive at the Cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain. Enjoy the first leg Cable car, which achieves two Guinness World records in 2009, longest non-stop cable car (5,042m) and highest non-stop cable car (1,292m)

Sitting in the cabin, in mid-air, looking upon the endless tree line of the forests, bring you spectacular views of the lush jungle and fairly waterfalls along the way. Experience the pristine ecological systems of the Ba Na Mountains will leave you with a sense of unforeseeable discovery.

First, step on Golden Bridge which stands 1,400m above sea level in the Ba Na hills, and extends over the treetops from the edge of a leafy cliff face offering tourists uninterrupted views of the majestic landscape beneath. The gold-colored walkway is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums and extends for almost 150 meters, curving around in an elegant design. But it is the sculpted hands that give it the true wow factor. It looks like the giant hands of Gods pulling a strip of gold out of the land. The Golden Bridge is the latest tourist attraction in Da Nang and has attracted hordes of guests since it opened.

Visit the Le Jardin, old wineries, remains of French Villas, and Linh Ung Pagoda with 27m high Buddha statue. We then leave the Le Jardin for the second cable car station to visit the top of the mountain and see the remains of old villas.

Conquer the Peak of Chua Mountain at the height of 1,487m. View the whole of Da Nang City under the cluster of white clouds. Leave the Peak of Chua Mountain, and visit the trail of Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Waterfall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valley, and ruined Opera House. Lunch at a local restaurant with a buffet menu. Play with wild monkeys and take photos, freely then we return to the Cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain and then transfer back to Da Nang City. Overnight at a hotel in Danang

Note: Cable car ticket includes all free games in Fantasy Park: over 105 games and free Knight Game (Chute), entrance fees for Funicular, The Golden Bridge.

Day 6CAM THANH COCONUT VILLAGE – HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN TOUR – LANTERN RELEASE ON THE RIVER (B)

Breakfast at the hotel

Late visit   Visit Marble Mountain, a group of five limestone peaks situated seven kilometres from downtown Da Nang.  Arriving at the Marble Mountains you first need to climb the stairs up that leads you to Linh Ung Pagoda.The five karsts (called Ngu Hanh son in Vietnamese) are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoâ (fire) and Tho (earth). Over centuries, Marble Mountains has held special significance for the people of   vietnam. The ancient cham revered the karsts as a spiritual site, and vietnamese emperors from hue and Legendary generals passing through paid visits to the peaks, adding to their store of legends At the top you can visit some temples and discover numerous caves and amazing viewpoints, with panoramic views over the complete area and coast below

Transfer to Cam Thanh Village. Here you will have a chance to see the locals catching fish in some traditional way on the river. We have 45 minutes to try basket boats with local people. You will be immersed in the natural beauty of the Nipa palm forest. 

Continue to visit Hoi An Ancient Town. It is more interesting in the late afternoon. There is plenty to see in this delightful town, some of which are the famous Japanese Covered Bridges, Pottery Museum, 200 years old Tan Ky House, Chua Ong Pagoda, and vibrant market. Today we include these on a walking tour past many low-tiled houses scattered along the small streets and assembly halls, which reflect the town’s multicultural past. The rest of the day is free for leisure to enjoy the shopping in Hoi An – a paradise for silk & fashionable clothing and accessories. 

Get on a sampan to release a lantern on the river. Besides the meaning of traditional cultural beauty, releasing Hoi An lanterns also has a profound spiritual value for both locals and tourists. When a flower lantern is lit, it will be like a prayer for luck and peace for yourself and your loved ones.

You can also explore Impression Theme Park Memories Show (optional) Hoi An memories is an outdoor art performance program with more than 500 actors participating. Divided into 5 performances informing about Historical periods of Hoi An such as: dance, Light, Sound, Music combined with modern props and technology to create a Spectacular, Lively and Full Performance.

Back to the hotel and free at leisure on your own. Overnight in Da Nang

Day 7DA NANG – FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH (B)

Breakfast at the hotel; free until the driver escorts you back to Da Nang Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Upon arrival, a local guide picks you up and escorts you to the hotel.

Take a half-day city tour to visit outside of Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (is renovating in 2022), a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles, Saigon Central Post Office, which was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Then, visit the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos, and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. End of the day, you have free time to go shopping at Ben Thanh Market.

The tour ends at the hotel. Free at leisure on your own and enjoy the nightlife. Overnight at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

Day 8HO CHI MINH - CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNEL (B)

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for full day city tour of Ho Chi Minh

Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification Palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom Palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi Tunnel; the trip will take approximately one and a half hour bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Return to Saigon for an Overnight stay

Day 9HO CHI MINH - MEKONG DELTA (B)

Breakfast at hotel; a trip to Mekong Delta to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and the rich culture of the vibrant southern Delta region. Boating down the river to experience the local life, fishing port, fishing floating house, enjoy the local folk song music and seasonal fresh fruit.

Our driver picks up and departs from Ho Chi Minh for My Tho City by air-conditioned car. Enjoy the peaceful villages on the way and get far away from city life. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda. Then move to My Tho boat station.

Pick up at My Tho Tourist Boat-station; take a boat trip on Mekong River that covers areas of My Tho fish-farm and 4 islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix

Transfer to Rach Xếp (Ben Tre), visit the factory of crafts and the showrooms of coconut products

Get on a horse cart along the nicest rural village of the area on the way to visit honey bee farm where guest can enjoy the taste of honey tea.

Rowing on sampans along the canals of Mekong River covered with shady water coconut trees.

Continue to Rach Tan Thach, take a motor – boat go along small canal to discover  the beauty of Ben Tre , which homeland of coconut and visit “Hồng Vân” – coconut candy factory, one of the famous specialty of Ben Tre.

 

Returning back to coach and going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Drop off at hotel and relax.

Day 10HO CHI MINH - DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel; Transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your flight to back to your country without guide. Home sweet home!
