Itinerary

Day 1PICK UP FROM GORAKHPUR

Pick up from Gorakhpur and Drive to Lumbini. You will be transferred to hotel. Welcome drink followed by tour briefing. After Check in at hotel; proceed to Visit Maya Devi Temple (if time) you will also observe the Ashoka Piller. Return to Hotel and overnight at Lumbini.

Day 2DRIVE LUMBINI TO POKHARA (B)

After breakfast drive to Pokhara (822m from sea level) (225 KM / 7 hours) observing the scenic views of the highway road. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Evening walk around the tourist area of Lake Side and enjoy the view of western Himalayan ranges with Mt Fishtail. Return to hotel and overnight stay at Pokhara.

Day 3FLIGHT POKHARA TO JOMSOM (B, L, D)

After breakfast transfer to Pokhara airport for flight to Jomsom. Arrive in Jomsom Airport & transfer to Hotel. Short walk to Jeep stand for drive to Muktinath by Jeep. Take off from Jeep and walk up to Muktinath Temple. Arrive in Temple after Darshan and worship, walk back to Jeep station and drive back to Jomsom. Overnight stay is at Hotel in Jomsom.

Muktinath Temple

Muktinath is one among the most ancient Vishnu temples. There are two holy water ponds in front of Muktinath Mandir Laxmi Kunda and Saraswati Kunda. It is believed that by taking bath in these ponds the ‘negative karma’ gets washed away. Hindus call this shrine Muktikshetra meaning place of salvation and Buddhist call this place Chumig Gyatsa meaning place of 108 waterspouts.

Day 4FLIGHT JOMSOM TO POKHARA AND SIGHTSEENG (B)

Fly back to Pokhara. Arrive in Pokhara & transfer to Hotel. Check in to Hotel and continue sightseeing of Pokhara Covering: – Devi’s fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Seti Gorge and 01 hour boating on Fewa Lake to visit Taal Barahi Temple. Overnight is at Hotel in Pokhara.

Devi’s Fall

The waterfall has a length of 500 meters and depth of 100 feet. Though the waterfall flows all year round it is best viewed from June to September. An interesting note about the waterfall is that it runs down some rocks before disappearing into an underground tunnel leading to Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave.

Gupteshwor Cave

The cave is said to be have been discovered in the 16th century. The main cave entrance was not constructed until 1991. The main cave contains two chambers with several shrines located throughout. The largest of these shrines is dedicated to Shiva. There is lighting in the cave that has a power back-up though bringing your own head torch is recommended.

Seti Gorge

The Seti originates from the snow fields and glaciers around the twin peaks of Api and Nampa in the south facing slopes of the main Himalayas. It is the Deep Gorge with the milky white water.

Taal Barahi Temple

Tal Barahi Temple, also known as Lake Temple or Varahi Temple is a two-storey pagoda temple located on a small island on Phewa Lake in Pokhara. Dedicated to Goddess Varahi, who is an incarnation of Goddess Durga, both Hindu and Buddhist followers visit here for worship.

Day 5DRIVE POKHARA TO KATHMANDU (B)

Breakfast & drive to Kathmandu (210 KM / 6 hours). Enroute visit Manakamana Temple (Optional). On arrival check into the Hotel followed by welcome drink. Rest of the Day is free for your personal activities. Return to hotel and overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 6KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING (B)

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Kathmandu valley covering Pashupatinath Temple – holiest and oldest Hindu temple, Boudhanath Stupa – Oldest Buddhist Monasteries, Patan Durbar Square & Swyambhunath Stupa. Back to hotel & Overnight Stay at hotel

Pashupatinath temple

Pashupatinath Temple a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, and is located in Kathmandu, Nepal. This temple was classified as a World Heritage Site in 1979. This “extensive Hindu temple precinct” is a “sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries along the banks of the sacred Bagmati river, and is one of seven monument groups in UNESCO’s designation of Kathmandu Valley.

Boudhanath Stupa

Boudhanath is a stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal. Located about 11 km from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, its massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal and the world.

Patan Durbar Square

Patan Durbar Square is situated at the centre of the city of Lalitpur in Nepal. It is one of the three Durbar Squares in the Kathmandu Valley, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of its attractions is the ancient royal palace where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided.

Swyambhunath Stupa

Swayambhu is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the Kathmandu Valley, west of Kathmandu city. The Tibetan name for the site means ‘Sublime Trees’, for the many varieties of trees found on the hill. However, Shing.kun may be of the local Nepal Bhasa name for the complex, Swayambhu, meaning ‘self-sprung’.

Day 7DRIVE KATHMANDU TO CHITWAN (B, L, D)

Breakfast & drive to Chitwan (170 KM /5 hours). On arrival check into the Resort followed by welcome drink and briefing about the jungle activities. Evening enjoy the Tharu Cultural Dance. Dinner and overnight stay at resort of Chitwan

Day 8CHITWAN JUNGLE SAFARI (B, L, D)

Today you will enjoy jungle activity. After breakfast proceed for Jungle Safari and Canoe Ride on Rapti River, short jungle walk, watching birds, dears and many more animals, evening sunset view. Return to hotel & overnight.

Day 9DRIVE CHITWAN TO GORKHPUR (B)

Breakfast & check out from hotel. Drive to Gorakhpur for your final departure for your onward destination with sweet memory of Nepal.
