Arrive at Bagdogra Airport. Our representative will meet and greet you and then complete with the Pre-registration formalities of the individual at Immigration counter. After that transfer to hotel; check into the hotel and relax.
Later drive to Thimphu. Enroute stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Thimphu and Paro rivers. Three different style of Stupas; Tibetan, Nepalese and Bhutanese adorn this confluence.
On arrival in Thimphu, check into the hotel.
The capital town of Bhutan and the center of Government, religion and commerce, Thimphu is a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions. With the population of about 90,000 it is perhaps still the world’s only capital city without a traffic light.
Later visit to Trashichhoedzong: This impressive fortress/monastery houses secretariat building, the throne room of His Majesty, the
King and various government offices. It is also the summer residence of Chief Abbot and central monk body.

After breakfast drive to Wangdi (Wangdiphodrang)
Wangdi is the last town on the highway before entering Central Bhutan. The drive is over Dochu La Pass (3080Mts / 10102Fts) which is very scenic with fascinating view of mountains of Bhutan. At Punakha visit Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery), Evening you drive back to Thimphu
The Dochu La is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas within Bhutan on the road from Thimphu to Punakha where 108 memorial chortens or stupas known as “Druk Wangyal Chortens” have been built by Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuk, the eldest Queen Mother.

After breakfasts go for Thimphu sightseeing covering – Memorial Chorten, Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong),Changangkha Lhakhang (Monastery), Motithang Takin Preservation Centre, Drupthob Goemba / Zilukha Nunnery, Textiles Museum (Handicrafts Shops – Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery). Later transfer to Paro). On arrival Paro, check in to the hotel.
Overnight at Hotel in Paro
After breakfast go for Paro Sightseeing covering Drukgyel Dzong (presently closed for tourist), Ta Dzong (National Museum-Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), Rinpung Dzong, Kyichu Lhakhang (Monastery), back to the hotel.
OPTIONAL ADD ON – Add on Chela pass additional 3000 for a SUV car. Can be done before or after city tour, and accordingly the itinerary of that day will be followed
Today we head back to Phuntsholing after your breakfast. On the way back, visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum of the Kingdom. Originally built as Watch Tower since 1967 it is serving as the National Museum of the country and holding fascinating collection of art, artefacts, Thangkha paintings and Bhutan’s exquisite postage stamps. Then walk down the trail to visit Rinpung Dzong which has a long and fascinating history.
Overnight at Phuntsholing
After Breakfast & with packed bags, it’s time to bid goodbye to a wonderful week in Bhutan. After that we head back to Phuentsholing Terminal and exit and continue to Bagdogra for your flight. The trip ends here.
