Varanasi and Prayagraj are the ‘tirthas’ and performing Pind Daan therein holds immense significance as per Hindu religious beliefs.
According to Hindu beliefs, Pindadan is a simple and easy path to salvation. It has been said that Pind Daan, Tarpan and Brahmin Bhoj (food distribution among the Brahmins) are three main functions in the Shraddha. The Triveni Sangam & Akshay Vat in Prayagraj and the Ganga ghats & Kashi Vishwanath Temple make these religiously and historically places ideal for offering the holy prayers and performing Pind Daan rituals in the guidance of a priest (Pandit) so that ‘puja’ is conducted with proper vidhi (method).
Arrive at Varanasi railway station/airport and then transfer to hotel. At evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life, as you will be taken to River Ganges. Today after breakfast, proceed to PRAYAGRAJ – a beautiful city situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Upon arrival proceed to TRIVENI SANGAM and perform PIND DAAN RITUALS. After we visit LAYING HANUMAN TEMPLE – The shrine is an underground pit which houses an enormous image of Lord Hanuman in a lying position. Later return back to Varanasi for an overnight stay.
In morning we will go for PIND DAAN RITUALS. It takes around 3-4 HRS to perform entire activity. Everything will be arranged by us (PUROHIT + POOJA ITEMS). After that we visit the most KASHI VISHWANATH TEMPLE – one of the 12 Jyotirlinga, ANNAPURNA DEVI TEMPLE.
The appearance of the KASHI VISHWANATH DHAM temple has changed because of the newly built KASHI VISHWANATH CORRIDOR. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor in Varanasi adjoins the ancient Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Ghats of the river Ganga. The project is aimed at ensuring the movement of pilgrims and devotees between the Ghats and the temple. Earlier, they had to pass through crowded streets to reach the temple. The Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor, built-in 21 months for 700 crores. Kashi Vishwanath Dham Corridor is built in 50 thousand square meters.
Come back to hotel for breakfast. Latter in noon have a fabulous city tour which covers the BHARAT MATA TEMPLE, MANAS MANDIR, SANKAT MOCHAN (HANUMAN TEMPLE), DURGA TEMPLE, VISHALAKSHI TEMPLE.
EVENING BOAT RIDE: We go for an evening BOAT RIDE (direct payment basis) by the sunset and witness the activities by the river side in the evening, watch the cremation at MANIKARNIKA GHAT and finally stop at DASHASHWAMEDH GHAT to enjoy the GANGA AARTI ceremony from your private boat. Early morning, we will be taken for a BOAT RIDE (direct payment basis) on the Ganges at time of sun rise. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. We will visit all the famous Ghats of Varanasi via boat. Come back for breakfast.
After Breakfast, have leisure time in morning. Latter drop to Varanasi airport/railway station for onward Journey
