Fly in to Port Blair Airport. Drive to your hotel. After check-in at the hotel, take some rest and thereafter, drive straight to CORBYN’S COVE BEACH, which is about 4 km from Port Blair. The beach is perfect for swimming.
Later in the afternoon visit CELLULAR JAIL followed by SOUND AND LIGHT SHOW. The Cellular Jail has a pride of place in India’s freedom struggle. Many a stalwart were imprisoned here. Declared a national memorial, this three story prison constructed by Britishers in 1906, is a pilgrimage destination for freedom fighters. This colossal edifice has mutely witnessed the most treacherous of inhumane atrocities borne by the convicts, who were mostly freedom fighters. The day draws to a gentle close with the Sound and Light Show at the historic Cellular Jail which gives you a vivid experience of its strong association with the freedom fighters and their struggle for independence. Visit the Administrative Capital before Independence from where the Britishers governed the entire A & N Islands – ROSS ISLAND. A destination for nature walk amidst friendly deers & peacocks.
The Island still houses the Commissioner’s Palace, the bakery, British Officer’s Club, a church and an old cemetery of the British officer’s on the Island though these buildings now lie in ruins
Later, proceed for a City Tour of Port Blair that includes a visit to the FISHERIES MUSEUM (AQUARIUM) – exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands, ANTHROPOLOGICAL MUSEUM – displays tribal essential and artifacts’, NAVAL MARINE MUSEUM (Samudrika) – gives a good retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geography, and archaeology of these islands Enjoy a night stay at Port Blair.

OPTION 1: HAVELOCK ISLAND (SWARAJ DWEEP) (70 KM / 3 HOURS)
This picturesque Island with beautiful sandy beaches and lush green forest is also rated as the seventh most beautiful island in the world. It hosts ONE of the world’s most renowned beach; RADHANAGAR BEACH. The Island also has the biggest concentration of breath-taking DIVING and SNORKELING sites, thus acting as a paradise to marine world explorers. (Water sports activities available here are SCUBA DIVING, UNDER WATER SEA-WALK, SNORKELING, JET SKI- WATER SCOOTER, BANANA BOAT RIDE, SPEED BOAT etc on direct payment basis)
OPTION 2: BARATANG ISLAND (100 KM / 2.5 HOURS)
BARATANG ISLAND is around 100 km from Port Blair. The journey to Baratang is through tribal reserve forests. One gets to explore the limestone caves and the mud volcano in Baratang. The boat ride to the limestone caves through the mangroves is as beautiful as the caves themselves.
OPTION 3: MOUNT HARRIET (55 KMS BY ROAD/15 KMS BY FERRY)
One of the many national parks in the Andaman Islands is the MOUNT HARRIET NATIONAL PARK, which is considered as the main attraction and highest peak in the Archipelago of South Andaman. The main feature of Mount Harriet is its fauna and natural flora, which are up to now still unmatched. Just like a forest, Mount Harriet is covered with greenery and Port Blair can be seen from the top of the mount’s peak.
