Arrive at Ranchi Railway Station/Airport and drive to the hotel and check-in. After taking some rest you will proceed to all-day sightseeing at ROCK GARDEN, DASHAM FALLS, JONHA FALLS, RANCHI LAKE, SUN TEMPLE, and JAGANNATH TEMPLE. Return back hotel for an overnight stay.
Today after breakfast, go to visit the remaining places for Ranchi sightseeing and other popular attractions such as KANKE DAM, TAGORE HILL, PATRATU VALLEY, PANCH GAGH FALLS, HUNDRU FALLS, HATIA MUSEUM AND TRIBAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND MUSEUM. Return to your hotel in the evening after the visit and relax.
Overnight stay at Ranchi
After breakfast, you will drive to the hill station of Netarhat. (Netarhat-developed by the British, who had a knack of settling in the most beautiful places in the country, this is a scenic getaway. There are no significant colonial relics here now, but the dense forests, stream-streaked valleys and verdant hills of the plateau are easy on the eye). You will visit sightseeing of NASPATI GARDEN, NETARHAT DAM, and NETARHAT PUBLIC SCHOOL, SUNRISE, SUNSET, etc. Enjoy a beautiful sunset in Netarhat in the evening. Morning after experiencing beautiful sunrise in Netarhat; set out for Betla. Enroute take stop at MIRCHAIYA WATERFALL, SUGGA BANDH, and LODHA FALL. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing tour of CHERO FORT, MUSEUM. Also, enjoy evening JUNGLE SAFARI AT BETLA NATIONAL PARK (at your own cost). Overnight stay at Betla
BETLA NATIONAL PARK: This national park is located across 226.32 sq km. In 1974, it was incorporated into the Palamu Tiger Reserve. Betla National Park is recognized as the first Tiger Reserve in India. The forest is located at an altitude of about one thousand feet with trees like Sal, teak, bamboo and various medicinal plants. The North Koel River flows through the northern part of the forest, which is surrounded by vast grasslands.
There are many species of wild animals in Betla National Park. In addition to the large number of elephants, sloth bear, hyena, panther, wolf, jackal, four horned antelopes, nilgai, kakar, sambar, mouse deer, pangolin, mongoose, etc. can be found here. Occasionally there are reports of tigers spotted near villages. So if you are indeed very lucky, you may spot a tiger. There are also numerous species of birds including the main red jungle fowl, hornbill, peafowl, white necked stork, partridge, black ibis, pied hornbill, crested serpent eagle, wagtail, harial, forest owlet. Knob billed duck, geese, common whistling etc. are found in the wetlands. Elephant and Jeep safaris are conducted at Betla National Park at varied timings.
Enjoy an early morning JUNGLE SAFARI/ELEPHANT SAFARI at Betla National Park (at your own cost). After breakfast, transfer to Ranchi Railway Station/Airport. Enroute visit KECHKI SANGAM (confluence of North Koel and Auranga rivers) where world famous director Satyajit Ray’s movie “Aranyer Dinratri” was shot. Tour ends here.
