Cruising through the harbour pass many towers and famous palaces in Copenhagen, not forgetting of course the ‘Little Mermaid’. Disembark boat in the heart of Copenhagen, only two minutes walk from the main shopping street ‘Stroget’. Later visit Tivoli Gardens, one of the world’s oldest amusement parks. This morning proceed on your own to Oslo railway station as you begin the famous “Norway in a Nutshell” tour.
The train ride takes you northwest in Norway, through the Halling Valley along sparkling rivers and ancient homesteadsand past small villages and cities and ascends the Hardangervidda Mountain Plateau after passing Geilo and Ustaoset. Upon arrival Myrdal, change trains and continue on the famous Flåm
Railway.
The Flåm Railway has a lot to offer: Wild and beautiful mountains with snow-clad peaks, fertile pastures and historical traditions reaching back to pre-Christian times. This amazing railway is unique in the world, no other adhesion – type railway is steeper than the Flåm Railway.
Throughout the 20 kilometre long stretch, you’ll get a wonderful view to some of Western-Norway’s most beautiful fjord and mountain scenery. The Flåm Railway displays some of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history.
Continue the “Norway in a Nutshell “tour with a boat from Flåm to Gudvangen. The boat trip along Aurlandsfjorden and Nærøyfjorden is another highlight of the tour, this fjord are on the UNESCO World Heritage list. These are the narrowest, most dramatic, and yet the most beautiful of the secondary fjords to the Sognefjord. Continue through Nærøydalen from Gudvangen to Stalheim with bus. Arrival in Voss where you will change to train and go all the way to Bergen. A short walk to your hotel in Bergen.

This morning you arrive Helsinki at 09:55 Hrs. Proceed and transfer on your own to hotel. Finland boasts a green and pleasant capital, explore the country’s beautiful natural scenery. Helsinki’s location on the peninsula means wherever you go you won’t be far from the sea while its southern position assures that it enjoys a milder climate compared to the rest of the country. This morning, you will enjoy a self-guided Audio City Tour of Helsinki. The many sights include Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament Building, Olympic Stadium, Presidential Palace, Opera House, Finlandia House are amongst the highlights of this special tour. Stops will also be made at the Sibelius Monument and if possible, at the Temppeliaukio Church. A visit to the Seurasaari Open Air Museum is recommended.
