Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Belgrade

Arrival to Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade, capital of Serbia

1 hour panoramic sightseeing of wider downtown area: Parliament, Presidency, Terazije and Republic square, former Ministry of Defense building destroyed in NATO bombing in 1999.

Visit to Saint Sava’s Temple, biggest Orthodox Christian church in the world by volume.

2 hour Belgrade walking sightseeing: Knez Mihajlova main Pedestrian Street and Belgrade Fortress on the confluence of Sava and Danube River, with tennis courts where Belgrade-born tennis player Novak Djokovic used to train as a youngster.

Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Belgrade

Visit to Yugoslavia History Museum and Mausoleum of Tito, president of Yugoslavia and leader of Movement of Non-Aligned Countries during Cold War.

Visit to Nikola Tesla Museum that keeps more than 160000 original documents, devices and other personal items as original legacy of this Serbian – American inventor. Coffee breakon confluence of Sava to Danube River, with perfect view to Belgrade Fortress.

Visit to Zemun Town, former Austro-Hungarian city, with Millennium Tower on Gardos Hill overlooking confluence of Sava to Danube and Belgrade.

Day 3Zlatibor Mountain

Visit to Oplenac Hill with the complex of Serbian Royal Dynasty: Museum of King Peter the 1st and the mausoleum of Serbian Royal Dynasty of Karadjordjevicin the Church of St. George.

Visit to Royal wine cellar, and wine tasting.

Drive in Sargan Eight old touristic train from 1925. It is a narrow-gauge railway that passes through 22 tunnels, over 5 bridges, and overcome the altitude difference of 300 meters.

Visit to ethno village Drvengrad (Wooden City), built on Mecavnik hill by Serbian film director Emir Kusturica, who won twice Palm d’Or on Cannes film festival.

Drive to best view-point in Serbia, from Tara Mountain overlooking Drina River canyon and Bosnia from 1000 meters above.

Drive by longest European cable car to top of Tornik Peak on Zlatibor Mountain, total 9 kilometers drive with great view to beautiful landscapes.

Visit to Sirogojno Ethno village that is open air museum of old countryside life with numerous wooden houses dated 200 years ago, and famous for wool clothing

Visit to beautiful Gostilje Waterfall. Zip-line adventure in one of the longest European zip-lines that is connecting 2 hills by 500 meter long wire
