Warm welcome on arrival at Chennai airport/railway station, we will start our drive to Tirupati Balaji temple. Later, we will proceed to Tirupathi to visit famous TIRUMALA TEMPLE. On arrival here check into the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for Darshan of LORD BALAJI (Venkateswara) that is very charming and delightful for tourists and visitors. Tirupati is one of the most revered sites of Hindu pilgrimage prominent for its LORD VENKATESWARA TEMPLE. It is widely Known and acknowledgeable undoubtedly that this temple being the richest in India has a history way back to the 9th century A.D. when Pallavas, the rulers of Kancheepuram encouraged, managed and patronized this chiefly temple. This well prominent temple gained, accomplished and rose like a point in the heaven’s glory in the 15th Century A.D. under the majestically royal guardianship and protection of the Vijayanagara Emperors. Later return back to the hotel and stay for overnight there comfortably.
After some delicious breakfast, we will start our drive to Vellore. Arrive and visit VELLORE FORT, regarded as one of the best historical monuments in Vellore. The fort houses the Jalakanteswarar Hindu temple, the Christian St. John’s Church and a Muslim mosque, of which the JALAKANTESWARAR TEMPLE is famous for its magnificent carvings. The first significant military rebellion against British rule erupted at this fort in 1806. It is well-maintained by the government.
After early morning breakfast, visit SIRIPURAM GOLDEN TEMPLE, the largest Golden temple in the world, with over 1.5 tons of gold used. All the gold work was done by artisans specializing in temple art using gold. Every single detail was manually created, including converting the gold chunks into gold foils. Later drive to KANCHIPURAM, arrive at Kanchipuram and visit KAMATCHI AMMAN TEMPLE, EKAMBARANATHAR TEMPLE AND VARADHARAJA PERUMAL TEMPLE after temple Darshan return back to Vellore. Today morning after breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed to Pondicherry; enroute visit TIRUVANNAMALAI ARUNACHALESWAR TEMPLE and RAMANA MAHARSHI ASHRAM.
Continue your drive and reach to Pondicherry. Visit to AUROBINDO ASHRAM, AUROVILLE MATRIMANDIR, MUSEUM, MANAKULA VINAYAGAR TEMPLE, CHUNNAMBAR BACKWATER, PARADISE BEACH AND PROMENADE BEACH, after visit back to hotel – Night stay at Pondicherry.
