Known as the birthplace of Lord Krishna, Mathura is a quaint town packed with temples dating back to different ages. The place receives a heavy influx of devotees from across the world, especially during Holi and Janmashtami.
Lying on the banks of River Yamuna, Vrindavan is known as the childhood abode of Lord Krishna. The exuberant atmosphere of this town is believed to be symbolic of the benevolent and playful nature of the Hindu God, Krishna.

Arrive at Delhi/Jaipur airport/railway station and transfer to the sacred towns of Mathura and Vrindavan via Yamuna Expressway.
On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Mathura. You can start exploring the birth place of Lord Krishna. It is scattered with numerous temples having its own significance, the main temple in the town is the DWARKADHEESH TEMPLE where the devotees assemble in every festival. SRI KRISHNA JANMA BHUMI is another site to visit, it is the place where Lord Krishna was born; similarly Lord Krishna’s rest place after his triumph over the tyrant Kansa is the VISHRAM GHAT. Other points of attraction are, the GITA MANDIR, RADHA KUND and more. After a long day of sightseeing, the overnight stay at the hotel.
After your breakfast is served, you advance towards Vrindavan, indulge yourself more with the temples it has to offer. The BANKE BIHARI TEMPLE is a very well known shrine here; the temple to whom it is dedicated is believed to have been the great Krishna devotee. The oldest temple in the area is the MADAN MOHAN TEMPLE; the most beautifully designed temple is the SRI RADHA RAMAN MANDIR TEMPLE. Other temples are the PREM MANDIR, ISKCON TEMPLE, VRINDAVAN CHANDRODAYA MANDIR and more. In the evening you return to the Mathura and relax.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Mathura
After breakfast drive to Gokul where Nand Gopal was sheltered in Yashoda Maiya’s home in secrecy to escape the wrath of tyrant Kansha. Also visit GOKUL NATH JI TEMPLE. Proceed to MAHAVAN – believed to have cradled Lord Krishna. Visit ‘ASSI KHAMBHA’ the temple dedicated to Mathura Nath Ji. Continue to GOVERDHAN – where Lord Krishna held aloft ‘Giriraj’, the sandstone hill on his finger for seven days and nights to protect the people of Braj from the wrath of rain and thunder sent by Indra. Return to Mathura.
After breakfast visit NAND GAON – the house of Lord Krishna’s foster father Nand, in whose memory stands the 19th century temple. A little beyond is PAN SAROVAR – one of the four most celebrated lakes in Braj. Continue to BARSANA – the birth place of Radha – with temples in reverence of Ladliji (Radha). Also visit the water tank ‘PREM SAROVAR’, the first meeting place of Radha – Krishna. Afterward, drive towards Delhi/Jaipur airport/railway station where our mesmerising tour will end.
